Senior Fitness of Florida, Inc. is a full service fitness management company specializing in providing fitness and programming services to individuals, residential communities, and assisted living facilities. Senior Fitness of Florida is dedicated to helping each person improve his or her health, fitness, and quality of life.

Our Exercise Physiologists are college educated, certified and insured, and strive to provide the highest level of quality instruction, personal attention and support.

Mike Schmidt has over 16 years’ experience in the health, wellness and fitness fields, helping clients improve both their mind and bodies.   He earned his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from Florida International University and holds the highest accredited certification for exercise physiology, CSCS, by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.   Schmidt, owner of Senior Fitness of Florida, has managed and directed all fitness and wellness programs at Abbey Delray South for the past 15 years, increasing resident participation by 500%.  In the past three years he has worked with Lifespace Communities on the development of their Corporate Wellness Manual, designed and managed construction of new fitness facilities at Abbey Delray, Harbour’s Edge and Abbey Delray South, and started successful fitness programs at Abbey Delray and Harbour’s Edge, increasing resident participation by 700% and improving the Resident Satisfaction Survey by 17% (78 to 93.3 approval rating).
